Jun 24, 2026"On this day, we literally waited outside until they opened. We weren't the only ones waiting for them to open. I'm upset with myself that I didn't try this place sooner. It was literally across the street from where we always stay. Spent a week there and went to Quemedas 4 times, always for breakfast. The presentation of the food was unlike anything I have seen anywhere else. The first day I asked an employee who the chef was. I spoke to him and told him it looked so well presented that I felt like I was eating a piece of art! :-) Over the course of the week I also met the owner, Jorge. It was obvious why the employees cared so much because he was all over the place and it was obvious he cared greatly that his customers were satisfied. The serving sizes are large and the food was excellent, our entire family agreed. The Gofres (waffle) became my favorite. They have an extensive menu and once I work my way past the breakfast menu, I look forward to trying the other menus. And the entire restaurant, along with the bathrooms, is very clean, which is important to me. You can tell they care! Can't wait to get back there and it will be summer of 2026, if not sooner.
